Hi my fellow Michigan hunters,
Deer season has come and gone, and we start anew with a fresh set of experiences, frustrations, and successes under our belts. I say it every year, but I truly gained more knowledge this year than any other! Coaching a youth hunter taking his first decent buck after 3 years of taking does was perhaps the most rewarding experience. We would like to hear your stories of this season. Check out our facebook page to view the biggest online base of Michigan Hunters! Thank you for your support!

This past deer season was the best deer season I’ve ever had. Ive been hunting in are great state for 10 years now, and every year i always learn new things from my experiences from being in the woods. I wasnt able to bow hunt this year because of working out of state. But i was able to hunt are rifle seasoon, And it was nice to actualy have cold weather during the rifle season unlike last year the weather was warm, the rut activity in my hunting area was very low, and the deer wernt moving at all. But this year the rut was in full swing, i was lucky enough to harvest a 9 point on opening day, and a real nice 6 point, five days later. Its a good feeling to tag out. But im already looking forward to the 2011 deer season. I let some smaller bucks go, so if there still in the area, andmake it threw the winter, they should be decent this year. But good luck to all this hunting season.
